I am giving this place 4 stars and not 5 because I am simply not a fan of BBQ. The person I was with had a craving for BBQ but he changed his mind and wanted Red Lobster. However, as we were on our way there we spotted this place which is right next door. We had the $11 lunch specials and I must say, it was plentiful. I ordered the brisket and he ordered pulled pork. The pull pork is extremely tasty but will give you high blood pressure because it's just that salty lol and the brisket was really tender and good too. The only thing I didn't like though we're the Buffalo shrimp, the were overcooked. The waiter was nice, the atmosphere was really cozy and not many people there. It was cold and snowy which made it even more cozy. If you are a fan of southern bbq, I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been here 3 times and have found everything I've had so delicious. They are also vegetarian and pescatarian friendly, which is great for a BBQ place. I stopped eating non-kosher meat out around the time I started eating here, so I've not had meat but my friend I went with for the first time was so impressed with his BBQ ribs and the generous servings and leftovers he had. When I come here I have the salmon, which is a moderate decent size portion that is delicious with all four of their sauces. I usually have the mac and cheese and cornbread as the sides, which is some of the best I've ever had. My second time with my dad, we shared the salmon with tumbleweeds (onion ring laces) were to die for as well as the fried pickles which were also tasty though we preferred the tumbleweeds. Perhaps the highlight of the place is not the BBQ but the Super Crazy Milkshakes. I in fact saw a Facebook friend post a picture of the cookie milkshake that I had the first two times. That one was even better the second time, when I added the bourbon. The last time, I had the s'mores milkshake which was similar to the cookie one pictured but coated and flavored with s'mores. I've also had the 21 ounce frozen Paps and Margarita, which are delicious but dense in alcohol just to warn everyone.

The super crazy milkshake. With bourbon. You should get that. Unless, of course, you don't drink alcohol. I don't either, so I ordered mine without bourbon. It was still super crazy. It was still delicious. I had the advantage of being able to drive home, while my dining companion might have had to wait just a bit longer until the alcohol wore off. Regardless, we both needed a nap once we got home. Did I mention that we ordered our milkshakes before we ordered any food? Thank goodness, too! It was much easier to bring home the food we didn't finish, and it set the tone for a fun meal. We did also eat food, not just the cookies and candy that were attached to our shakes. We started with buffalo shrimp, which were well battered and tender. Then I moved on to fried catfish with roasted corn and peppers and my friend had a sandwich with macaroni and cheese. He loved his sandwich, and wished he'd ordered a second helping of the mac and cheese. My catfish left me wishing the chef had been to a few of the down home diners in the southwest, as the batter was fluffy and lacked the cornmeal crunch I've been craving. The corn and peppers made me wish I'd ordered the collard greens, so I did just that, and they were delicious. I know that I'll be back. The space is inviting and fun--I mean, who doesn't want to eat next to a giant metal chicken? And the food is good, and will hopefully get better as they fine tune their recipes. Plus, I'd be super crazy if I didn't come back for another shake! (This might have been a 3 star if not for the shakes.)
